Kamran Farid embarked on his professional journey by working with the United Nations Mission for Afghanistan in 2004. He subsequently joined an Afghan-American non-profit organization in mid-2004, where he remained employed until 2021. Following his relocation to Canada, he joined another non-profit organization in Toronto.

From 2004, Kamran has been working in various roles including bookkeeping, accounting, and finance in Afghanistan and Canada.

Kamran is delighted to be able to use his experiences to collaborate with Gakino’amaage in contributing to educational development initiatives for Indigenous peoples.
