An Evening with Northern Educators – Panel Q&A
Are you interested in hearing different perspectives on living and teaching in a northern First Nation? Join the Teacher Recruitment Team as well as community partner and teacher panelists for an interactive conversation on life in the North. You will hear about different First Nations communities, unique approaches to working with students in the classroom, and will learn more about COVID-19 adaptations and their impact on education. Community partner panelists will share more about their schools and the qualities that they look for in their teachers. Teacher panelists will share about their experiences and will speak about the preparation and support they received through Teach For Canada.
The conversation will be moderated by the Teacher Recruitment Team. We encourage all participants to participate in this conversation through the chat box and by providing us feedback through the poll question at the end of the event. Are you interested in going North with non-teaching family members? We encourage them to participate in this webinar so they can assess their own fit for a northern First Nation.
Teach For Canada is dedicated to making our events accessible for all participants. Closed captioning will be available in English during the presentation.
