Sayisi Dene First Nation is the home of Peter Yassie Memorial School which welcomes students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12. The school is named after a prominent personality in the community who was not only a respected citizen of Tadoule Lake but also a popular pilot. The school features a gym, five classrooms, a computer and library classroom, a large outdoor playground, and more.
