Anna Eagle Child is a member of the Kainai Nation, which translates to “Many Chiefs”. It is the largest First Nations reserve in Canada, located in Southern Alberta. Although living far away from her reserve, Anna’s mother ensured that her children maintained relationships with relatives by making the time to visit with family, despite being born and raised in Toronto, Ontario.
Anna’s mother is of Blackfoot ancestry, and her father is Vietnamese. Growing up with a diverse background has allowed Anna to navigate life with a unique outlook and identity. Anna has spent many years focusing her time and energy towards Early Childhood Education. She strongly believes in the importance of early learning as being a vital building block of a child’s future and foundation. Anna is a dedicated mother to a beautiful and active three-year-old son, Kingston, and enjoys trying new recipes in the kitchen in her spare time.
