During her 35 years of experience with the Lakehead Board of Education and the Regional Office of the Ministry of Education in Thunder Bay, Audrey has taught and administered single English track and French–English dual track schools. Additional commitments included being Principal of the Principals Course Part 1 and Provincial Councillor for the Ontario Principals’ Council.

As a qualified Supervisory Officer, Audrey was hired for the position of the Education Officer/Inspector for the Ontario Ministry of Education. In this position, for 12 years, she provided support, leadership development and education for First Nations School Authorities and the Public and Catholic School Boards. Audrey coordinated the annual training conference for teachers and administrators of some 40+ First Nations School Authorities.

As the Regional Office Lead and the Provincial Lead for the Ministry’s Aboriginal Education Office, Audrey visited and reported on the combined programs provided by the First Nation Education Authorities and the Public School Boards. Responsibilities in her role included being the Inspecting Supervisory Officer for twenty Ontario private schools located in the First Nations communities as well as conducting inspections and providing support for several international private schools in Asia.
