Christie is an Associate at Torys LLP, where her legal practice focuses on infrastructure, energy and environmental law. In 2009 and 2010, Christie represented the Canadian Bar Association at the 15th and 16th Conferences of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. She also worked with the organization Islands First to assist Pacific Small Island Developing States in the negotiations.
A former volunteer teacher in Ghana, Christie is a Director of the Toronto Wildlife Centre and a member of the Executive Committee of the Climate Change Lawyers Network. She holds a JD from the University of Toronto and a BA (Hons.) from Mount Allison University.
