Julia is a dynamic and enthusiastic connector, dedicated to fostering development, education, and collaboration. At Gakino’amaage: Teach For Canada, she channels this synergy to support educational equity in northern First Nations communities as part of the Growth and Partnerships team.

Throughout her career, Julia has held pivotal roles in non-profits, social enterprises, and tech companies, where she built and nurtured partnerships with corporations and educational institutions. She has led initiatives that expanded access to education and strengthened community networks. Julia’s passion for growth and learning extends beyond work; she actively volunteers for diverse organizations, sharing her expertise to drive meaningful change. A natural extrovert, she thrives in collaborative environments, continually seeking opportunities to learn from her peers and inspire collective advancement.

Julia earned her degree in International Development and Economics from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). She embraces an “always be learning” mindset, earning certifications in web development, UX design, project management, and CRM optimization to enhance her ability to drive impact.

During the week, Julia can be found working diligently in Toronto, coffee in hand. Evenings are spent with friends and family or staying active through basketball and rock climbing. On weekends, she embraces Ontario’s natural beauty, exploring hikes and campsites—always accompanied by her trusty coffee.
