Born and raised in Owen Sound, Nolan is a proud member of the Oneida Nation of the Thames. A former Gakino’amaage: Teach For Canada alumnus, he has worked in both Gakijiwanong Anishinaabe Nation and Lac Seul First Nation as an Elementary and High School teacher.

Nolan continues to teach Elementary students in Kincardine, Ontario.
