Poplar Hill First Nation
Ahgwahbuush Memorial School
The brand new Ahgwahbuush Memorial School opened in the fall of 2016. The school offers classes from Kindergarten to grade 8 to 135 students. The school is very proud of its attendance rate, which is around 88%. It is also very common to hear Ojibwe in the school hallways, as it is most students’ mother tongue. High school students can take classes with the Keewaytinook Internet High School (KiHS).
